Ngorongoro & Serengeti Calving Season

8 Days Tanzania Big Five & Big Cats

Witness half a million wildebeest born on the short-grass plains of the southern Serengeti, with the Crater's big five as your finale.

Overview

Each year between January and March, half a million wildebeest are born on the short-grass plains of the southern Serengeti — and the predators gather. This eight-day journey puts you at the centre of the calving season, ending with the big five on the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater.
