Henry grew up between Kampala and his native village on the edge of Lake Mburo, and has spent more than ten years guiding and designing safaris across East Africa. He holds a deep passion for cultural safaris, gorilla trekking in Uganda and Rwanda, slept in most of the camp we recommend, and still leads a handful of journeys himself each year.

Born within sight of the slopes of Mount Elgon, Ayub brings more than twelve years and a grounding in tourism management to every journey he leads. He is at his best deep in Bwindi on a gorilla trek or among communities on a cultural tour, unhurried, meticulous about safety, and quietly devoted to showing guests the Uganda he loves. They request him by name, year-round.
Known to many simply as King, Godwin came to guiding by way of marketing. A degree in the field and early years at the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre sharpened his instinct for how a journey should feel. For well over a decade he has led travellers across Uganda, pairing that polish with genuine warmth and an easy command of the country's wildlife and culture.
