ANCIENT AFRICA SAFARIS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The necessary considerations as you prepare to book for any service with Ancient Africa Safaris Limited
Ancient Africa Safaris Limited puts together all around East Africa. The conditions below are applicable to every safari booked with Ancient Africa Safaris Limited. The term ‘operator’ is used to refer to Ancient Africa Safaris Limited. “You” as used in these terms and conditions refers to all persons as naked on the bookings. “We” and “us” refers Ancient Africa Safaris Limited. The entrance fees, meals, transport, accommodations or any services that are to be offered in respect of any tour are those stated on the website in the tour itinerary. Please, take in note that the laws and regulations of the country where the services are being provided are those applying to your holiday/ safari and not those from your country.
Ancient Africa Safaris Ltd is incorporated within the Republic of Uganda, operating under the governing Laws of Uganda. Your contract and agreement with us and any matters arising out of these will be solely governed by the laws of Uganda, except agreements made through our agents governed by laws of their respective countries.
DEPOSITS AND BOOKINGS
The moment you decide and choose your arrangements, you notify us through any means of communication, either phone call, through Email exchange or any other means place forward. You will be required to make a deposit of 50% of the safari price quoted at the booking time, or full payment if desirable, so that we make prior preparations. Payments can be made by bank transfer to the company bank account in Uganda or using Credit card Transfer costs are to be paid by the client(s) . The balance is payable upon arrival for the safari. Hence, a contract between you and us will come into existence. Should we by any chance not accept the bookings, your deposits or any other payment received will be paid back. In any other case, the refund will only be done in accordance to these terms.
SAFARI / BOOKING CANCELLATION
When you cancel out your reservation, a cancellation fee shall be applied and payable in the following ways
110 days and above 30%
60 – 109 days 40 % of the safari price
40 – 59 days 60 % of the safari price
16 – 39 days 85 % of the safari price
0 – 15 days 100% of the safari price (No refund)
If there are any complaints you have, please inform you driver/Guide. We entrust the driver/Guide with the ability to best resolve any complaints raised. In case your complaints were not worked upon, please submit a written report to Ancient Africa Safaris Limited with immediate effect (better not over 20 days). We shall do our best to rectify the problems as soon as they are raised.
Unless clearly stated under these conditions, the Company shall not accept any liability or pay out any compensation. This is in case the prompt performance or performance of our obligations under our contract with you is affected or prevented by, else you may suffer any loss or damage (as more fully described in clause 12 a) below) resulting out of “force majeure”. Within these terms, “force majeure” refers to any event in which the Company or the service(s)’ supplier in question cannot, even with due care, foresee or avoid. Events like these may include threat, strikes or war, weather conditions, civil strife, war, industrial dispute, riot, actual or terrorist activity, fire, natural disaster, hostile weather conditions, and any other similar events beyond our control.
Any form of travel arrangements, hotel/ lodge accommodation reservations, flight bookings, motor transport reservations, Park permits reservations worked on by the tour operator, are all subject to cancellation provisions and both booking conditions and of the service supplier, accommodation and transport.
ACCOMMODATION & ITINERARY ALTERATIONS
We take utmost effort ensuring that the itineraries provided are fully run through to execution. However, unforeseen occurrences may call for some alterations and changes. The tour operator does not take on any liability due to changes made in substitution of properties or routes. In event pf substitution of property, they ought to be replaced in an equal value measure.
Good health, both mental and physical is essential for the great enjoyment of these safaris. We highly recommend good physical-conditioning as you prepare for all tours, especially those involving hiking and climbing, Chimpanzee Tracking, Gorilla Tracking and rafting.
At Ancient Africa Safaris Limited, we do not assume any liability for medical care. By agreeing to take on a safari, the client certifies that she/he is physically well to go on with the tour.
