Bookings & Payments

A deposit of 30% confirms your safari, with the balance due 60 days before departure. Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are paid in full at booking, as required by the national park authorities, and are non-refundable once issued.

Cancellations

Cancellations more than 60 days before departure forfeit the deposit; within 60 days, charges apply on a sliding scale up to 100%. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, which is a condition of travel.

Itinerary Changes

Wildlife is wild and Africa is dynamic; we reserve the right to adjust routings where weather, park authorities or safety require, always providing accommodation and experiences of equivalent or higher standard.

Liability

Ancient Africa Safaris acts in good faith as an organiser of travel services provided by lodges, carriers and park authorities, and is not liable for events beyond its reasonable control.
