Ancient Africa Safaris began the way the best journeys do — around a campfire. Founder Henry Kaweesa had spent a decade guiding travelers through Uganda's parks when he realised the safaris guests remembered weren't the ones with the longest itineraries, but the ones shaped by people who genuinely knew and loved the land.
Ten years later we remain deliberately small: one office in Kampala, a senior team you can name, and private journeys across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania designed one traveler at a time. We have walked every trail we recommend, slept in every camp we book — and we answer to our guests, never to volume targets.
