The two Days Nyungwe Forest National Park Chimp Tracking adventure takes you into the well preserved Rainforest park. The Forest is a home to over 13 primates, 280 bird species and different plant species. Nyungwe Forest National Park was inaugurated in 2004 and is best known for being Rwanda’s top haven of Chimp Tracking.

Day One: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park from Kigali Town
Have an early morning breakfast at your hotel in Kigali / at the airport. From here, your driver will pick you up for a drive to the southern province heading to Nyungwe Forest National park. This drive lasts approximately 5 hours, taking you through the winding hills and montane forests to your lodge. You will check in here, and thereafter embark on the extraordinary Canopy walk in the afternoon, viewing the forest from a n aerial view. After the Canopy walk, you return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay

Day Two: Morning Chimpanzee tracking and departure to Kigali in the afternoon
You will be served an early morning warm breakfast at the Lodge. Afterwards, your driver and guide will transfer you to the park’s headquarters for briefing by the park guide. Thereafter, you will proceed for the Nyungwe Forest Chimpanzee tracking, lasting between 2 -4 hours. You will be afforded an hour of getting closer to the chimps, observing them as they keep in their habitat. Upon completion of your Chimpanzee tracking experience, you will head back to your lodge and get ready for the driver to Kigali. END OF TOUR
