Mount Meru Hotel

Mount Meru Hotel stands in about fifteen acres of gardens on the edge of Arusha, opposite the golf course, with the mountain it is named after filling the view on a clear day.

Why We Love It

Arusha is where the northern circuit begins, and this is the most comfortable place to spend the night before it does. Roughly forty five minutes from Kilimanjaro International and twenty from the small Arusha airstrip, it absorbs a late arrival and gets you out early without drama.

The Experience

A hundred and seventy eight rooms and suites, two restaurants, a pool with a shaded children’s section, a spa and a gym. The gardens are the best part, wide lawns running towards the golf course, and there is a lounge for a drink at the end of a travelling day.

Need to Know
