Safari Overview
This unforgettable 3-day gorilla trekking safari takes you deep into the misty highlands of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, one of only two places on Earth where you can observe endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
Day 1: Arrival in Bwindi
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Enjoy a scenic drive through the lush Ugandan countryside. Evening briefing at the lodge about the trek ahead.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast, meet your guide and ranger team at the park headquarters. Trek through dense forest for 2-6 hours to find a habituated gorilla family. Spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants up close.
Day 3: Community Visit & Departure
Visit the local Batwa community to learn about their ancient forest heritage. After lunch, transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe.
