Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali to the Volcanoes
We meet you off your flight for a genocide-memorial visit and lunch in Africa’s cleanest capital, then drive into the foothills of the Virunga volcanoes.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
A dawn briefing at Kinigi, then into the forest with expert trackers to spend one unforgettable hour with a habituated gorilla family. Afternoon spa, or a village walk with our community partners.
Day 3: Golden Monkeys & Twin Lakes
Track the bamboo zone’s endemic golden monkeys at first light, then picnic above the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo beneath the cones of the Virungas.
Day 4: Return to Kigali
A slow morning in the volcano views, then the scenic drive back to Kigali for your evening flight.
