Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp

There is one camp inside the Impenetrable Forest, and this is it: eight stone-and-canvas suites folded into the greenery at Buhoma, where habituated gorilla families have been known to amble straight through camp while guests watch from the breakfast table.

The Experience

Each tent has a private veranda facing the forest wall, a deep bathtub for post-trek soaks and a personal butler. Evenings bring stories around the campfire and the calls of the forest settling into night.
