Kibale Forest National Park is home to the highest density of primates in Africa. This 4-day adventure immerses you in the sights and sounds of the tropical rainforest as you track our closest relatives.
Itinerary Highlights
- Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe to Fort Portal. Check in to your crater lake lodge.
- Day 2: Morning chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest (2-4 hours). Afternoon nature walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.
- Day 3: Full-day chimpanzee habituation experience — spend up to 4 hours with a chimp family being habituated to human presence.
- Day 4: Morning crater lake hike, then transfer back to Entebbe.
