Why We Love Serengeti Serena safari Lodge

Position within the park. Seronera holds resident lion, leopard and cheetah year round, so the game does not depend entirely on where the herds happen to be that week. The pool sits right on the lip of the ridge, which is the correct place for it after a long morning in a vehicle.

The Experience

Sixty six rooms in stone-built thatched rondavels of two floors, one room above and one below, each with a private entrance and a balcony facing the plains. The dining room is domed and two-tiered, meals can be moved out into the bush on request, and there is music and dancing after dinner.

Need to Know
