The classic East African trio in thirteen days: big cats in the Masai Mara, the endless plains of the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, then barefoot days on Zanzibar’s white-sand beaches. Enough time in each ecosystem without a rushed pace.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive in Nairobi. Meet and greet, transfer to your hotel, welcome dinner and trip briefing.
Days 2–4: Masai Mara
Morning and afternoon game drives among lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant and buffalo, a guided visit to a Maasai village, and sundowners over the plains. Optional dawn hot air balloon flight with a champagne bush breakfast.
Day 5: Nairobi to Arusha
Fly from the Mara to Nairobi and connect to Kilimanjaro Airport, then transfer to Arusha. Evening at leisure.
Days 6–8: Serengeti National Park
Fly to the Serengeti and follow the wildebeest herds gathering on the southern plains, with full-day game drives, picnic lunches in the bush and an optional dawn balloon safari.
Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the crater for a full day among the big five, including the best chance in East Africa of seeing black rhino. Overnight on the crater rim.
Day 10: Stone Town & Zanzibar
Fly from Arusha to Zanzibar. A guided walking tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then transfer to your beach resort.
Days 11–12: Zanzibar
Beach time, a spice farm tour, and an optional dhow snorkelling excursion to the reefs off Mnemba Island.
Day 13: Departure from Zanzibar
Transfer to Zanzibar airport for your homeward flights.
